O Lord save your people and bless those throughout the world who wake everyday consciously choosing to be a conduit for Your Light and Your Love. Those who by Your guidance help to heal those who have been broken and lost, led astray by the temptations of this world. My Lord, my God, may You bless them and keep them well… I thank each and every one of you for the beautiful and heartfelt greetings, that you bestowed upon me, (we sent a birthday card) …Each one of you in your own way have answered the call of our Lord Savior Jesus Christ and have eased my burdens, for that I thank you. I thank you James and Kim, John and Lucie, Tatiana, Maria and the three Mary’s, Rebecca, Arianna, Stan, John and Tabitha, Jeremy, Eva, Cat, Benjamin and the Buchannan’s, Mary and Stephen, Father Webb and those whose signatures my old eyes could not make out. To each of you, “We (I) always give thanks to God for all of you and mention you in our (my) prayers constantly, remembering before our God and Father your work of faith and labor of love and the steadfastness of hope in our Lord Jesus Christ.” (I Thessalonians 1:2-3) Thank you, from your brother and friend in Christ, Elijah
These are excerpts from an 8 page letter, one of 5 letters I received last week from our participants. Elijah, like many of our participants is seeing God moving in his life and realizing, much to his surprise, that God’s been with him all along. I’ll post his letter on the bulletin board, so you can read about how he came to be involved in the Prison ministry and how he “Dares to Hope” again. Thank you for your prayers for those in prison and your financial support of our Prison Ministry.
